CANCELLATION OR RETURN

If an order cancellation or return is required, please note that the following fees are applicable as per the shipping schedule below :

The 3% Payment Processing Fee is a charge incurred each time we accept a credit card payment. Our payment gateway, imposes this fee on all Shopify merchants using Shopify’s payment systems. YUME covers this non-refundable fee on behalf of the customer when an order is placed, meaning customers are not charged this fee during purchases. However, if an order is canceled, the 3% fee is deducted from the total refund amount, as it is non-refundable.

 

CANCELLATION

  • Cancellation before the order has been shipped will incur a 3% Payment Processing Fee

  • Cancelling after the order has been shipped will incur an 3% Payment Processing Fee + Return Shipping Fee

  • Returns will incur a 3% Payment Processing Fee + Restocking Fee + Return Shipping Fee

  • If you wish to cancel your order, please contact us as soon as possible with your order number ready to avoid return and restocking costs.

 

RETURN

Product was delivered:

  1. Orders from YUME may be returned within 14 days upon receipt of goods. Buyers may, request a return & refund service without providing any reason, but shall be responsible for the return shipping fee;

  2. Orders from YUME can be returned within 14 days upon receipt of goods. If the product has a manufacturing defect or is damaged during transport, you may contact the YUME customer service team at support@yumescooter.com to request a return & refund service. YUME will then be responsible for the return shipping fee in such cases. 

Used articles:

We do not offer a return of used items, except in the EXTREME cases of breakage/ malfunction.

 

Before sending back your YUME product, please contact support@yumescooter.com to obtain return authorization approval and to initiate the return process. Any returns made without informing YUME in advance will be considered unauthorized and will not be accepted.

For a return to be eligible, it should meet the following criteria:

  • The scooter should be unused, never been ridden or used in any way.

  • It should be in its original packaging, with all the necessary components in the original YUME box that the scooter came in.

  • All parts and accessories which came with the order must be included, returned intact and in an unused condition. This includes manuals, chargers, and any other additional items that came with the order.

  • The buyer is responsible for covering the return shipping costs as well as an 8% restocking fee.

Once we receive the returned product and verify that it complies with the specified conditions above, we will initiate the refund process within 3 business days. If the product is in an acceptable condition as outlined, YUME will proceed with issuing a refund. However, if there is evidence of use or riding, we will not be able to accept your return.

 

Refund Time Schedule

Once YUME returns your payment, you will receive your refund via your original payment method within three business days. (The processing time of different banks or credit card companies may vary. If you have not received it after more than 14 working days, please contact support@yumescooter.com)

In cases where the buyer is responsible for the shipping fee. The specific fee shall be based on the express company you choose.

In the case of manufacturer's fault and, goods received are damaged or incorrect, the buyer will not be required to bear the shipping fee.
